Mac OS X: Repair "Open With" list in right-click menu

Sometimes there are a lot of duplicated commands in right-click context menu of OS X. Here’s a simple way to fix it.

In Terminal, paste command below and press enter:
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain userDone.

  2. Finally!! Thank you SO much!! I had a bunch of useful stuff in my Open With menu and I reinstalled my Mac OS and when I copied my data back onto it they showed up again!! How is that even possible when I never installed them, it was a fresh installation!? Got so annoyed…
But thankfully, this solved it… thanks again!
